About The Wag Ramp

Hello and welcome!

The Wag Ramp began when my husband and I got our bulldog, Edna, in 2012.  Edna fit right in – we love her and want the best for her.  She’s happiest when she can snuggle up with me on the sofa every evening.

As is typical with bulldogs, Edna is rather fearless and doesn’t think about her own safety.  Sometimes, after play, she would limp slightly.

Our vet warned us that jumping up and down on the sofa or bed could hurt her - something that she did all day long.  We care about Edna’s health, but couldn’t bear forbidding her from coming up on the couch. So, we decided to get her a ramp.

We looked online and at local pet shops and tried four different ramps.  Edna didn’t like any of them – they were too steep, made her nervous, and just didn’t work!

Out of frustration, I made our own homemade ramp.  Edna loved it.  Soon we had three of them, one for each sofa in the house.

Edna still uses her original ramps all day, every day.  We even take one on the road with us. It’s been going strong for 5 years, with the same foam and cover – we’ve never had to replace any part of it!

Our pet-owning friends would see Edna using her ramp and ask if we could make ramps for them.  Our ramps became so popular that we decided to sell them online.

Edna is senior dog now, and has been diagnosed with arthritis in her hips – an unfortunately common occurrence in dogs.  We’re more grateful than ever that we have our ramps.

We’ve been so happy with the feedback we’ve received from people who can now share the couch with their beloved pet.  We hope the Wag Ramp helps your pet as much as it has helped ours!

Sincerely,
